Description
The Licensed Practical Nurse administers patient care under the direction of a Registered Nurse, collaborates with the nursing team, and contributes to patient-care activities. The role is accountable for compliance with the Ohio Nurse Practice Act, regulatory standards, and institutional policies, while also providing physical, emotional, and spiritual support to patients, families, and significant others. The position requires a practical nursing diploma, a valid Ohio LPN license, current AHA BLS certification, medication-administration certification, and IV certification is preferred. No prior job-related experience is required, and the role requires multitasking, basic computer knowledge, organization, and strong interpersonal and communication skills.
