Description
The Practical Nurse provides nursing and restorative care to inmates at the Sullivan County Department of Corrections, including medication administration, sick-call assessments, medical record maintenance, emergency response, chronic and prenatal care, HIV counseling, TB and hepatitis testing, and coordination with physicians and other providers. The role requires completion of an accredited practical nursing curriculum, New Hampshire registration, correctional facility training, at least two years of nursing practice, CPR/AED and first-aid training, and HIV test-counselor certification.
