Description
Springfield Clinic is hiring a remote LPN TeleNurse to provide telephone-based nursing support within the Illinois LPN scope of practice. The role includes medication refill processing, electronic health record documentation and order verification, basic nursing assessments, call prioritization, escalation of urgent needs to the Charge Nurse, patient advocacy, and support for new LPNs. It requires a current Illinois LPN license, graduation from an accredited nursing school, at least three years of clinical experience in an acute ambulatory or acute care setting, intermediate computer skills, accurate typing at 40 words per minute, and residence within 100 miles of Springfield, Illinois. The position follows a recurring part-time evening and weekend schedule and requires work on 4–5 observed holidays.
