Description
Rumpke is hiring a Vehicle Preventive Maintenance Technician to perform preventive maintenance, inspections, lubrication, fluid and filter changes, minor repairs, and adjustments on a fleet of vehicles. The role also includes assisting senior technicians, maintaining maintenance records, performing housekeeping and administrative duties, and working in a vehicle maintenance shop. The position does not manage employees and requires mechanical aptitude, vehicle-system knowledge, computer and wiring-diagram familiarity, safe vehicle driving, communication skills, and a valid driver’s license where applicable. Preferred experience includes 1–2 years of vehicle repair and maintenance and diesel-powered vehicles; the role may require flexible hours, nights, weekends, overtime, and travel between offices.
