Description
The Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse provides direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse, implements care plans, documents care, educates patients and families, coordinates home health and other disciplines, and communicates patient concerns to the clinical team. The role requires graduation from an accredited practical or vocational nursing program, three years of nursing experience, current state licensure, CPR certification, a licensed automobile, and the ability to work independently, observe, solve problems, and perform physical patient-care tasks.
