Description
The Licensed Practical Nurse provides specialized nursing care and related services to assigned patients under the direction of a Registered Nurse or Medical Doctor. Responsibilities include admission and ongoing assessments, care planning, medication administration, clinical procedures such as phlebotomy and injections, patient teaching, discharge planning, supply management, and departmental cleaning. The role requires LVN licensure, BLS certification, and an AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS certification, with a high school education or GED and a bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and experience preferred.
