Description
Olympic Steel is hiring a Leveler Operator Assistant to support continuous improvement and improve safety, quality, and efficiency. The role sets up and operates automatic leveling, sheeting, and console-operated equipment to level and stack flat sheets of various gauges according to customer orders, engineered layouts, and general instructions. The position pays $26.27-$28.27 per hour and requires availability for the third shift from 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m., Monday through Thursday. A high school diploma or GED is strongly preferred, along with 1-3 years of leveler-machine experience, steel-industry knowledge, and operational knowledge of cranes, forklifts, and ancillary lifting devices; production-operation experience is also preferred.
