Opus Packaging is hiring a Machine Assistant for its Jackson, Michigan location on the first shift from 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. The role produces corrugated or chip packaging products, supports machine setup and runs, handles plant data entry, handwork, and assembly, and requires physical work including standing, bending, reaching, stooping, squatting, and lifting up to 50 pounds. Applicants must be at least 18, have a high school diploma or equivalent, and be able to read safety and operating documents; warehouse or packaging experience, basic math, and measurement-tool proficiency are preferred.
