Description
The Machine Builder assembles custom machinery and equipment using mechanical drawings and assembly prints in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The role communicates build progress and issues to the Machine Build Lead, follows ISO quality and safety standards, prepares materials for secondary processes, safely operates equipment such as mills, lathes, drill presses, grinders, saws, and presses, and completes tasks with minimal supervision. The position requires basic computer skills, blueprint-reading ability, mechanical aptitude, teamwork, physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and willingness to obtain relevant certifications; a high school diploma or equivalent is required, while vocational or technical training is preferred.
