Description
The Machine Builder assembles packaging machinery, including formers, closers, loaders, and special machines, using SolidWorks drawings, build books, and documented requirements. The role also performs basic mechanical troubleshooting, handles parts shortages, supports disassembly, crating, and shipment, and contributes to safety, quality, efficiency, and continuous-improvement initiatives. It requires a two-year Automated Packaging degree or equivalent experience, at least five years of packaging machinery assembly experience, and familiarity with pneumatic and electrical tools and schematics. The position is primarily on the assembly floor, with an office component, and pays $28.00–$36.00 per hour.
