Howmet Fastening Systems is hiring a Machine Design Engineer – Automated Fastener Equipment for its aerospace fastener plant in Fullerton, California. The role designs and improves high-speed automated machinery, tooling, fixtures, feeding systems, and production equipment; develops 3D models and manufacturing documentation; integrates controls, robotics, vision, and motion systems; and supports assembly, debugging, installation, troubleshooting, and production launch. The position requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent hands-on experience, 3–5 years of relevant experience, strong 3D CAD skills, and knowledge of mechanical systems, tolerancing, manufacturing processes, and machine safety. The salary range is $110,000 to $130,000, with medical, dental, and vision insurance and other benefits.
