Description
Hood Container Corporation is hiring a full-time Machine Helper in Burgaw, North Carolina, to support the Converting department. The role assists machine operators with equipment setup and operation, monitors machines for irregularities, performs cleaning, lubrication, and basic maintenance, loads and unloads materials, maintains safety and performance records, and helps meet production and quality goals. The position requires mechanical aptitude, safety awareness, physical ability to stand and lift moderate weights, and the ability to read tape measures and fractions; prior manufacturing experience and industrial-machinery familiarity are preferred. The schedule is Monday through Friday from 9:30 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.
