The role collaborates with SoC/IP, system, software, and algorithm teams to create highly optimized solutions for machine learning applications and provides guidance to software and algorithm teams on efficient SoC execution.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree
Required Previous Experiences: Experience with C/C++ and/or Python
Experience with hardware IPs, including ML hardware accelerators, GPUs, CPUs, or image/video processors
Experience with ML frameworks such as PyTorch and efficient machine learning algorithm implementations
Preferred Qualifications: Master’s or PhD in electrical engineering, computer engineering, computer science, or a related field
20+ years of relevant experience
Experience optimizing and deploying ML models or runtime frameworks in production inference or training environments
Experience designing experiments to evaluate ML model optimization techniques
Ability to prototype algorithms on CPU, GPU, and Neural Engine, analyze performance metrics, and create high-level complexity models
Verbal and written communication skills for collaborating with partner teams
Understanding of compilers
