Amgen is hiring a Machine Learning Engineer for its AI Studio within the AI & Data Science organization. The role independently owns production components of enterprise AI products, including model and inference services, data and knowledge pipelines, retrieval and agent tools, evaluation modules, APIs, workflows, and monitoring. Responsibilities span Python and SQL software engineering, classical machine learning, Generative AI, NLP, RAG, bounded agents, data pipelines, evaluation, cloud deployment, CI/CD, observability, security, privacy, Responsible AI, auditability, GxP controls, incident response, and mentoring.
