Amazon is hiring a Machine Learning Engineer for its Security team to build and operate computer vision and machine learning systems that automate real-time physical security decisions across AWS regions. The role owns the full lifecycle of ML model deployment, including training infrastructure, production inference, monitoring, retraining, and iteration, while designing low-latency distributed systems and Infrastructure as Code. Candidates need at least three years of professional software development experience, two years of design or architecture experience, machine learning and large language model knowledge, and a bachelor's degree in a relevant field. The position offers base salaries of 143,700–194,400 USD annually in Annapolis Junction and Herndon, and 158,100–213,800 USD annually in New York, with health, dental, vision, and other benefits.
