Amazon is hiring a Machine Learning Engineer for its Data Intelligence team within Amazon Customer Service. The role designs and builds scalable AI/ML systems and infrastructure, including end-to-end pipelines, model serving, generative AI, large language models, AI agents, and production monitoring. Responsibilities also include AI governance, security controls, system architecture, cross-functional collaboration, and mentoring junior engineers. The position requires at least three years of systems architecture and design experience, machine learning and large language model experience, and experience in machine learning, data mining, information retrieval, statistics, or natural language processing. The Vancouver location offers a base salary of CAD 114,800 to 191,800 annually.
