Description
Apple is seeking a Machine Learning/Operations Research Engineer to apply advanced mathematical modeling, statistical analysis, and optimization algorithms to manufacturing challenges. The role develops models for capacity, yield, cycle times, costs, throughput, shop-floor layout, dynamic scheduling, and supply-chain metrics; builds digital-twin simulation models; and integrates operational data sources to support factory throughput, supply-chain strategy, and cost-reduction initiatives. The position requires a master’s or PhD in a relevant quantitative field, proficiency with optimization solvers and modeling languages, simulation-platform experience, and machine-learning experience, along with strong communication skills.
