DEKA Research & Development Corp. is hiring a full-time, on-site Machine Learning Engineer in Manchester, New Hampshire. The role combines backend engineering and applied machine learning, including distributed microservices, production ML-model deployment, event-driven Apache Kafka and Apache Spark pipelines, and systems integrating ML models with rule-based decision engines. Candidates need an M.S. in Computer Science, AI, or a related field, at least six years of backend software engineering and distributed systems experience, strong Java and Python skills, production ML-model experience, and familiarity with cloud platforms. Relocation is not available and the position is limited to local candidates.
