Gigaton is hiring a Machine Learning Engineer to build and deploy machine learning models, optimisers, and controllers for autonomous control systems in heavy industrial plants. The role spans research, software development, end-to-end deployment, cross-functional product work, and scalable system design, with responsibilities including active learning, cloud infrastructure, and engineering tooling. Candidates need at least two years of machine learning engineering experience, Python proficiency, end-to-end deployment experience, and familiarity with scientific or engineering environments; experience with control systems, reinforcement learning, optimisation, or cloud platforms is advantageous.
