Layup Parts is hiring a Machine Learning Engineer to develop and deploy custom models for manufacturing and design workflows. The role focuses on training models on internal data, estimating cost and design complexity from part geometry, generating or assisting with design generation, extracting structured information from engineering documents and drawings, and managing data pipelines through training, evaluation, and deployment. Candidates should have experience with custom model training, advanced object detection, large parameter-rich datasets, and preferably geometry-based or spatial modeling; CAD and manufacturing experience are bonuses.
