Description
The Machine Learning Engineer will develop and implement machine learning models, especially foundation models, and support their lifecycle from data preprocessing and pre-training through post-training, evaluation, and deployment. The role involves collaborating with research and cross-functional teams, reviewing code, debugging systems, contributing documentation, and representing MBZUAI at industry events. A bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience is required, along with at least three years of software engineering experience involving machine learning, ML infrastructure, natural language processing, or computer vision, plus experience with programming, data structures, algorithms, and machine learning tools.
