Metriport is hiring its first Machine Learning Engineer to own machine learning end-to-end, from problem framing and feature engineering on sparse, high-dimensional clinical data through model training, evaluation, production deployment, monitoring, and infrastructure. The role involves building predictive models for risk stratification, utilization prediction, care-gap detection, and unstructured clinical-data parsing, while working with founders, engineers, and customers. It requires 7+ years of experience building scalable ML systems, strong software and data engineering skills, and is based in San Francisco or the Bay Area or requires relocation.
