Description
NewsBreak is hiring a hands-on Machine Learning Engineer to own the full post-training stack for its large language models, with reinforcement learning as the primary focus. The role covers continuous pre-training, supervised fine-tuning, RL methods such as RLHF, PPO, GRPO, and DPO, data preparation, large-scale GPU training, evaluation and reward pipelines, and production-ready implementation. The engineer will partner with product and business teams to translate use cases into training objectives and deliver model improvements quickly. The position offers a US base salary of $150,000–$230,000 annually, along with health, dental, vision, retirement, paid time off, and other benefits.
