Description
Shepherd is hiring its first Machine Learning Engineer to build and own the full lifecycle of machine learning systems for fully autonomous commercial underwriting. The role partners with underwriters, engineers, and product teams to design production ML systems, close feedback loops, develop confidence and evaluation frameworks, build reliable LLM-based workflows, and establish observability and guardrails. Candidates need at least four years of end-to-end ML experience, production LLM experience, strong Python and modern ML-framework skills, and experience with limited-labeled-data modeling.
