UnitX is hiring a Machine Learning Engineer to develop, train, optimize, and deploy deep-learning models for defect detection, segmentation, and real-time computer-vision inference in manufacturing. The role covers automated data and model pipelines, edge and cloud deployment, monitoring, evaluation, explainable AI, and research into generative and reinforcement-learning techniques. Candidates need a bachelor's degree in a relevant field and at least three years of experience in deep learning, machine learning pipelines, sensor fusion, computer vision, and statistical modeling. Compensation is $174,304–$200,000 per year, with medical, dental, vision, 401k, unlimited PTO, and daily meals.
