Suno is hiring an early-member Machine Learning Recommendations Engineer to build and deploy scalable recommendation and ranking models for music discovery. The role involves modeling user preference, similarity, and engagement; designing systems from sparse and noisy interaction data; translating product objectives into measurable metrics; running large-scale experiments and causal analyses; and collaborating with product and research leadership. Candidates should have a strong quantitative background, experience designing models from first principles, Python and PyTorch proficiency, and familiarity with implicit feedback, ranking losses, bandits, or reinforcement-learning-adjacent methods.
