Description

Wayve is hiring Senior and Staff Machine Learning Engineers for its Driving Product organization to develop and deploy end-to-end driving models for Level 2 through Level 4 autonomous driving. The role owns the model lifecycle from data curation and training through evaluation, on-road validation, and production deployment, with responsibility for improving driving behaviors and supporting commercial deliveries. Candidates need proven deep-learning training experience and experience taking models into production; reinforcement learning, end-to-end driving models, transformer networks, PyTorch Lightning, model compression, and embedded-system deployment are desirable. The role is full-time and hybrid, based in Sunnyvale, London, or Israel.

Additional Information

Required Previous Experiences: Experience training deep learning models with end-to-end ownership of data, training, evaluation, and iteration
Experience deploying machine learning models into production under real-world constraints and quality and safety requirements
Preferred Qualifications: Reinforcement learning experience that materially improved real-world performance
Experience with end-to-end driving models or transformer networks
Automotive or OEM experience, or prior work deploying machine learning into physical systems
Experience with PyTorch Lightning training infrastructure
Experience with model compression and embedded-system deployments
