Description
Aira is hiring a Machine Learning Engineer for its Energy Optimization team to build and improve machine learning and optimization models that control heat pumps, batteries, solar systems, tariffs, weather, and customer behaviour. The role covers time-series forecasting, scheduling, decision models, production deployment, monitoring, reliability, experimentation, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver customer-facing energy optimization products. Candidates should have experience with real-world ML, data, or optimization systems, Python, software engineering, cloud platforms, and model evaluation; energy systems, constrained optimization, or control-systems experience are bonus qualifications.
