Workday is hiring an ML Engineer for its FIN Hyperautomation AI team to develop and deploy intelligent user experiences using generative AI, LLMs, natural language understanding, information retrieval, and autonomous agents. The role covers model training, API development, production deployment, scalability, observability, and lifecycle management, while also serving as a technical role model for junior engineers. It requires at least five years of relevant applied machine learning, Python, cloud, information retrieval, scalable ML services, deep learning frameworks, LLM, RAG, and AI agent experience, along with a bachelor’s degree. The primary location is Vancouver, British Columbia, with a base salary range of CAD 128,000–192,000 annually and a flexible work arrangement requiring at least 50% office or field time each quarter.
