Mind Foundry is hiring a Forward Deployed Machine Learning Engineer to lead the deployment and operation of production machine learning systems in Defence and National Security environments. The role involves translating customer needs into technical requirements, adapting models to client data and systems, troubleshooting integrations, supporting end users, and improving internal ML platforms. The engineer will travel to client and partner sites, with the option to work from the Summertown, Oxford office or hybrid when not onsite. Requirements include a relevant STEM degree or equivalent practical experience, Python programming, and production experience with Docker, Linux, CI/CD, MLOps, cloud platforms, and model serving.
