Snap Inc. is hiring a Senior Machine Learning Engineer for its Consumer Gen AI Product MLE team. The role focuses on developing machine learning products and AI Lenses, particularly image and video generation and editing, augmented reality experiences using diffusion and flow matching models, and consumer-facing generative AI pipelines. Responsibilities include collaborating with product, software engineering, lens content, and data science teams, integrating models and APIs into production, conducting A/B testing, monitoring the Gen AI landscape, and evaluating open-source models and third-party AI services. The position requires a strong machine learning background, Python or C++ programming skills, and a technical bachelor’s degree or equivalent engineering experience; knowledge of computer graphics and visual Gen AI is preferred. The role follows a default-together approach, requiring office attendance four or more days per week.
