Mimecast is hiring a Machine Learning II Engineer to join its Incydr product development team. The role combines full-stack data science with machine learning and statistical modeling, including data acquisition and cleaning, model training and evaluation, pipeline development, production deployment, monitoring, and leadership of ML initiatives. The engineer will also mentor junior staff, collaborate across product and engineering teams, and contribute to scalable AI architectures involving LLMs and agents. The position requires a Ph.D. or Master’s degree in a quantitative discipline with at least four years of relevant experience, or a Bachelor’s degree with at least six years of directly relevant experience, along with advanced programming, machine learning, data infrastructure, and AWS expertise. The role offers a hybrid schedule with at least two office days per week and a base salary of $124,000–$186,000 plus benefits.
