Stand is hiring a Machine Learning Engineer for its Applied Science team to design, train, evaluate, and deploy multimodal AI systems that combine physical simulation, 3D asset representations, and business context. The role focuses on multimodal model architectures, multi-step LLM agents, retrieval and similarity systems, training pipelines, production monitoring, and infrastructure, while partnering with the Platform team and cross-functional business stakeholders. Candidates need hands-on multimodal and LLM-agent experience, production deployment experience, and familiarity with physics-informed or spatial AI; the position offers a $250,000–$295,000 annual base salary plus equity and benefits, and does not sponsor new work visas.
