Wayve is hiring a Software Engineer, AI Performance Tooling to build and operate self-service performance tools for model training and inference across cloud and embedded hardware. The role focuses on profiling, roofline analysis, latency and throughput optimization, performance prediction, monitoring, regression alerting, and cross-stack recommendations involving models, compilers, runtimes, accelerators, and distributed training infrastructure. The position requires deep performance engineering, end-to-end tool ownership, Python, PyTorch, data analysis, and quantitative communication, and is a full-time hybrid role.
