Apple is hiring a Machine Learning Engineer to build machine learning and generative AI technologies at scale that improve search quality for Apple Maps. The role requires a master's degree in computer science or an equivalent field, at least two years of industry experience, experience delivering end-user-facing machine learning products, programming experience in Java, C++, or Python, and familiarity with TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Jax. Preferred qualifications include a Ph.D., machine learning and natural language processing expertise, knowledge of linear algebra and statistics, and experience with big data processing tools.
