Roche’s Computational Sciences Center of Excellence is hiring a Machine Learning Engineer to build and operate an agentic platform for computational molecule design. The role develops backend services, APIs, applications, machine learning integrations, workflow orchestration, testing, deployment, monitoring, and observability for scientists using AI agents and computational tools. Candidates need a relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree, 3+ years of professional software engineering experience, Python proficiency, and experience delivering production software in a cloud environment. The position requires onsite presence at least three days per week at either the South San Francisco or New York City campus, with no relocation benefits.
