Apple is seeking a Machine Learning Research Engineer to advance generative AI technology for Apple Intelligence, including Genmoji, Image Playground, and Image Wand. The role focuses on training and adapting large-scale image, video, audio, and multimodal foundation models, applying recent AI research, and developing proprietary experimental ideas for Apple’s ecosystem. Candidates need an M.S. or PhD in a relevant field, at least two years of experience training and fine-tuning modern image or video generation models, research experience, and proficiency with PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX.
