Apple is hiring a Machine Learning Engineer for its Wallet Intelligence and Machine Learning team to develop and launch on-device machine learning solutions that protect users from fraud while preserving privacy. The role owns the full lifecycle of models, including problem framing, feature engineering, training, evaluation, reporting, and deployment under constraints such as latency, model size, and on-device compute budgets. The engineer will collaborate with software engineering, security, program management, and business teams and may specialize in fraud detection, risk modeling, privacy-preserving methods, distributed computing, or iOS development.
