Google is hiring a Machine Learning Hardware Architect to lead the technical roadmap and architecture for hardware/software stacks supporting machine learning serving and training. The role bridges model architecture innovation and next-generation hardware design, guides high-performance and power-efficient accelerator architectures, develops simulation and performance models, analyzes distributed ML systems, and manages cross-functional partnerships across hardware, compiler, and machine learning teams. The position requires a bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering or computer science field and 12 years of experience in computer architecture, chip architecture, or hardware-software co-design, with preferred qualifications including advanced degrees, semiconductor experience, and deep learning framework expertise.
