Pony.ai is hiring a graduate-level intern to work onsite in Fremont for at least three months on large-scale foundation models and multi-modal perception systems for autonomous driving. The role focuses on framing real-world self-driving problems as ML problems and developing/deploying deep learning approaches such as VLMs and LLMs, with emphasis on 3D object detection, tracking, segmentation, scene understanding, and trajectory prediction using Python, C++, large datasets, and data pipelines.
