Blue Rose Research is hiring a Machine Learning Lead to guide a small team of senior data scientists developing ML-driven products for civic and political applications. Reporting to the Director of Engineering, the role owns the roadmap and technical direction while also building infrastructure, training and deploying models, overseeing experimentation and data quality, and translating model outputs into actionable insights. The position requires leading data science teams, strong applied-ML and statistics expertise, Python and SQL proficiency, production pipeline experience, and familiarity with LLMs, embeddings, agentic workflows, RAG, cloud, and DevOps tools. It is remote-first with offices and regular meetups in New York City and Washington, D.C., and offers $165,000–$210,000 annually plus medical, dental, and health coverage.
