Waymo is hiring a Machine Learning Performance Engineer to build infrastructure and tooling for monitoring and diagnosing machine learning model compatibility and performance, partner with ML engineers to optimize model performance, and maintain a database of model metrics for querying, debugging, bisecting, and tracking releases. The role requires a bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering, three years of software development experience with data structures and algorithms, and one year of experience with data visualization tools. It follows a hybrid work schedule and reports to the Tech Lead Manager of the Machine Learning Performance team.
