Apple is hiring a Research Scientist in its Camera and Photos group in Cambridge to design, develop, and improve imaging and photo-editing technologies for iPhone and iPad. The role combines research, algorithm development, and productization across image processing, machine learning, computer vision, and computational photography, with an emphasis on generative models and in-camera processing. Candidates should have a research background, strong coding skills, and experience publishing research results; a PhD in a relevant field and familiarity with C++ or Objective C are preferred.
