Pathway is hiring 1–2 full-time, permanent R&D Engineers for a foundational research project focused on attention-based models. The role involves distributed model training, improving and adapting model architectures, designing experiments, and optionally overseeing data-preparation activities. Candidates should be deep-learning researchers with experience in language models or reinforcement learning, hands-on model training, GPU architecture, graph algorithms, and familiarity with PyTorch, Jax, TensorFlow, Git, build systems, and CI/CD. The position is remote, with possible collaboration in Palo Alto, Paris, or Wroclaw, and offers a six-digit annual salary plus an employee stock option plan.
