Description
The ML Engineering Manager will lead and mentor a team of ML Engineers responsible for end-to-end model quality across an AI/ML detection portfolio, including MetaDefender Aether. The role owns model experimentation, architecture improvements, model development, evaluation, release contracts, and production readiness across cloud, offline, air-gapped, and embedded environments. Responsibilities include people and performance management, sprint planning, resource allocation, stakeholder representation, and alignment with Data Science, Development, and Product teams. The position requires direct technical-team leadership experience, at least three years of applied ML experience across relevant detection modalities, strong Python and PyTorch or TensorFlow expertise, model-evaluation experience, and a history of shipping well-documented models.
