Exponent is seeking a Machine Learning User Research Scientist for their Data Sciences Practice in New York, NY. This role involves planning and executing global data collection for machine learning algorithm training, supporting consulting activities, operating prototype hardware/software systems, solving technical/logistical problems, leading interdisciplinary teams, developing data analysis tools, and managing client relationships. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering, computer engineering, physiology, human factors, or a related field, along with expertise in advanced sensing technology, networking data analysis, user research study design, and various programming/scripting languages.
