Description
OBE is hiring a Machine Operator 1 - 1st shift to set up and operate glass fabrication equipment such as drilling, cutting, tempering, and laminating machines; interpret shop drawings and production schedules; measure and calculate glass specifications; monitor and adjust equipment; inspect finished glass; complete production documentation; and perform basic preventive maintenance. The role requires attention to detail, basic math and computer skills, safety compliance, and the ability to work in a manufacturing environment. A high school diploma or equivalent and at least one year of manufacturing or machine operation experience are preferred, with glass fabrication experience and overhead crane experience also advantageous. The position pays $21–$23 USD and requires availability for a five-day workweek with occasional Saturday work.
