GAF is hiring a Machine Operator for its Cumming, Georgia plant to operate and maintain 1500-ton injection molding machines producing commercial and residential roofing products. The role includes loading and unloading materials, inspecting parts, maintaining records, participating in production downtime and start-ups, housekeeping, and working rotating 12-hour shifts with overtime and some weekends. Applicants need a high school diploma or GED, two years of manufacturing or military experience, and basic math and problem-solving abilities; mechanical, maintenance, and injection molding experience are preferred. The base hourly rate is $26.36, with medical, dental, and vision insurance and other benefits.
