Description
The Machine Support Operator monitors and supports primary and secondary packaging equipment, resolves machine breakdowns and jams, performs beginner-level preventative maintenance, conducts material and color changeovers, supplies materials to presses, restarts injection machines, troubleshoots root causes, fixes minor cosmetic defects, maintains documentation and line clearances, and supports ISO/SQF, health and safety, continuous improvement, and standard work procedures. The role works 12-hour rotating shifts from 6:00 a.m. to 6:15 p.m. on a 36/48 schedule, with starting pay of $19.50 per hour and possible variation up to $20.50.
