Description
The SMT Machine Operator sets up and operates surface-mount technology equipment, including pick-and-place machines, solder-paste systems, and BGA x-ray inspection. The role involves loading components, inspecting boards, performing quality checks, maintaining equipment, reading process documentation, and improving manufacturing processes. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, while 1–2 years of experience is preferred; no certifications are required. The position works in manufacturing and warehouse areas from 2:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, and requires physical work involving prolonged standing, bending, lifting, and manual dexterity.
